Georges St-Pierre, UFC's Biggest PPV Draw, Set For Return
MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre returns after a 19-month absence to face Carlos Condit in Saturday's UFC 154, and UFC President Dana White said that St-Pierre is the sport's "biggest pay-per-view draw." White: "A guy like Georges St-Pierre helps the sport and the overall business. ... He's a guy you can build your business around" (USA TODAY, 11/16). Online betting site Bovada is offering a prop bet on how many PPV buys the card will have. The "over-under is 800,000" (Montreal GAZETTE, 11/15).
USA Today on Friday ran a four-page special section on UFC 154 with ads from UFC partners Bud Light, Harley-Davidson, UltimatePoker.com and Samsung (THE DAILY).
