The Orioles announced three front office promotions today. Neil Aloise was promoted to VP/Ticketing & Fan Services, Greg Bader was promoted to VP/Communications & Marketing and Mike Hoppes was promoted to VP/Finance (John Ourand, THE DAILY).

ABC said that its "Day of Giving" raised nearly $17M for Hurricane Sandy relief. Mavericks Owner and "Shark Tank" star Mark Cuban was one of the "major contributors." ABC parent company Walt Disney Co. made an additional $1M contribution to local charities (NYPOST.com, 11/6).

ESPN today announced that it will broadcast all 12 games of the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey regional and semi-regional rounds live in addition to the Frozen Four and the championship game for the ninth consecutive year. Every game will air on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or on ESPN3 and local syndication (ESPN).

The Mavericks have signed a deal for Avent Co.'s Round2 Inc. to become the team's official electronics recycling partner (Round2 Inc.).

Activision Blizzard's "NASCAR The Game: Inside Line" hits retail nationwide today. The game is available for Microsoflt's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3 consoles for $59.99 and Nintendo's Wii for $49.99 (Activision Blizzard).

Sources indicated that the inaugural World Series of Fighting card on NBC Sports Network averaged 198,000 viewers. WSoF 2 is "tentatively planned" for Jan. 26, but there "has been no announcement" on whether the MMA promotion will remain on NBCSN (MMAWEEKLY..com, 11/6).
