T'Wolves See Gains In Ticket Sales, Sponsorships As Season Starts
The T'Wolves tip off their regular season Friday night at home against the Kings having sold "the equivalent of more than 10,000 season tickets, including partial-season packages." That is the highest level since '04-05 and is "up dramatically from a low of about 4,000 just a few years ago." The team renewed 95% of last year's 8,000 season-tickets, including 98% in the lower bowl. Also, club officials expect "a roughly 60 percent surge in corporate sales and sponsorships this season" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/2).
