Tulane Officials To Present Football Stadium Plans In Public Forum

Tulane officials tonight will present plans for an on-campus football stadium and hear feedback at the first of three public forums on the school's campus. Many "neighbors have voiced opposition to the stadium, which is expected to hold 30,000 spectators for football games and other events." This comes after the New Orleans City Council last month voted to create an "interim zoning district that could give the city more control over the facility's design and operations" (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 6/6).
