New NBA Deal Places Dedicated Section On Times Of India Site

The NBA and Times Internet Limited today announced a partnership to launch the first-ever dedicated NBA section of the Times of India website. The section will reach more than 12 million users per month (NBA). This comes as the NBA is "targeting India with an aggressive marketing push as it seeks to replicate its success in China, which has become the league's largest foreign market" (FINANCIAL TIMES, 5/31).

NBA content on the Times of India and IndiaTimes English language sites launched last week "in the buildup to the Finals and will be updated continually after that." The NBA joins cricket's Indian Premier League in having a dedicated section within the Times of India website (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 5/30 issue).
