Dreams Inc. Partners With Fire In Its First Deal With MLS Club

The MLS Fire on Friday announced a deal with Dreams Inc., which will now manage retail, gameday and online merchandise operations for the club. This includes operation of the Fire's first-ever in-stadium retail store, which will open Sunday at Toyota Park prior to a home game against the Galaxy. Dreams Inc. also will oversee operations of satellite stores and other retail events. The deal is the company's first with an MLS team (Fire).

Meanwhile, Fire President Julian Posada said that he was in N.Y. this week "working on a jersey sponsor" to replace Best Buy, which ended its deal with the Fire after last season. Posada: "I'm optimistic. I'm excited that people are willing to talk to us. I'm being patient. The goal is to find the right one" (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 4/14).
