Alan Ritacco, PhD, is the AVP of Academic Affairs and the dean of Becker College’s School of Design & Technology which is the #2 ranked Interactive Media and Game Design program, and #10 Graduate MFA program, in the world, as well as the 1st in the US Bachelor of Science Esports Management program. He oversees the largest and most premier Gaming Ecosystem made up of Game Designers (including Computer Science), Game Players (esports), Game Managers (Esports Management), and Content Deliver (Emerging Media and Content Management and MassDiGI) which are all congruently connected to the prominently ranked Business program in the School of Design and Technology. Alan was recently the chairman of the College Esports eXpo (CEX), which hosted colleges and business throughout the US in Boston. Alan works with industry experts from Dell, Twitch, Microsoft, TeamLiquid, FaZe, and many others on direction, fundraising and industry growth related to the Gaming Ecosystem. Alan holds a PhD in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
