As Senior Director and Head of Next Gen Telecast at the National Basketball Association, Sara Zuckert leads the Next Gen Telecast initiative focused on the evolution of the game viewing telecast across all linear, social and digital consumption channels, featuring customizable experiences, alternate camera angles, companion content, and interactive engagement. She also oversees the virtual fan initiative for the NBA Season Restart in Orlando, which includes video boards surrounding the court filled with NBA fans who appear live in the venue and on the telecast while digitally interacting with each other.
From 2014-19, Zuckert worked in the Domestic Programming & Content Strategy group, focused on content strategy and game flow and telecast innovation. Prior to the NBA, Zuckert worked at Viacom in media planning and programming for TV Land Network.
Zuckert is a member of the board of WBRU, a nonprofit digital media workshop for college students based in Providence, RI.
Zuckert received her BA from Brown University and her MBA from the Yale School of Management. She resides in Manhattan.
