Jeff Wohlschlaeger is the vice president of partnership marketing for NASCAR. Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, Wohlschlaeger oversees a team responsible for managing and delivering value to brands invested across the sanctioning body and track facilities.
Wohlschlaeger provides strategic leadership on the league’s newest and most prominent sponsorship position – NASCAR’s Premier Partnership – four cornerstone brands representing the NASCAR Cup Series. The new model marked a historic shift in the sport’s sponsorship, providing many strategic benefits to the industry, including greater activation opportunities for brands across the sport.
Before merging with Partnership Marketing, Wohlschlaeger led the Series Marketing department, overseeing partnerships with Monster Energy, Xfinity and Gander RV & Outdoors, implementing strategies that helped strengthen and differentiate each of NASCAR’s three national series.
When Wohlschlaeger joined NASCAR in 2012, he led the Event Marketing team, responsible for event promotion and experience of races across the 10-month season.
Prior to NASCAR, Wohlschlaeger spent nearly 20 years with the Chicago Bulls, where he was responsible for game presentation, after rising through the sales and marketing team.
Wohlschlaeger graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He lives in Longwood, Florida with his wife and three children. Wohlschlaeger’s passion for sports extends through his volunteer work as a Youth Coach for Central Florida YMCA.
