Rene Ramos is the Vice President of Field, Lifestyle & Experiential Marketing at Constellation Brands. His experience covers over 20 years working on the biggest brands in the alcohol industry. His passion for beer, like many beer fans, started in college but he parlayed it into an actual career that has taken him on a journey working across the three top players in the industry – Anheuser-Busch, MillerCoors and now, Constellation Brands.
From the agency side to field marketing to brand marketing to sales management to sports & entertainment, Rene has been involved with beer brands across almost every consumer touchpoint. In the process, he has also worked across every major sports league and notable entertainment property in the country.
In 2018, his duties expanded from the company’s beer brands to include wine & spirits given the success of his disciplined approach to building the company’s regional go-to-market approach and the development of CBI’s sports, music and entertainment strategy within the beer division.
His responsibility now includes brands such as Corona, Modelo, Pacifico, Woodbridge, Meiomi, Kim Crawford, The Prisoner, SVEDKA Vodka and High West Whiskey amongst many others.
With one of the most amazing portfolios in total beverage alcohol he oversees Constellation Brands’ sports, music and entertainment platforms working to bring each brand’s proposition to life with consumers through meaningful activation and engagement that truly speaks to consumer lifestyles and passions. The strategy has contributed to driving volume and share growth for the company’s core brands in their major and emerging markets throughout the country helping solidify Constellation as the #1 Total Bev Alc company in the United States.
Rene lives in Chicago with his wife Sara, 3.5 year-old son Austin, 15-month daughter Abby, and their “Zoo Crew” of Macy the bulldog and two cats. When he isn’t hopping on a plane or chasing after his kids he’s trying any water board sport that’s available to him or hitting up a live music event.
