As Associate Vice President of Content at the National Basketball Association, Carlton Myers leads the Live Production and Entertainment department that is responsible for event production and game presentation for all NBA, WNBA and NBA G League tentpole events and special games both domestically and internationally, including NBA All-Star, WNBA All-Star, NBA G League Showcase, NBA Draft, and NBA Global Games.
Currently Myers is the Supervising Producer for overall game production and presentation for the NBA Season Restart in Orlando. This role includes leading the production design of the game courts, video and audio design, and game presentation concepts without fans in the game venues.
Myers served as Supervising Producer for NBA All-Star 2020 in Chicago after serving as the Coordination Producer for multiple All-Star events from 2012-2019, including the NBA All-Star Game, NBA All-Star Saturday Night and Rising Stars. He has also produced every NBA All-Star Slam Dunk since 2009.
Myers began at the NBA in 1995 and steadily worked his way up from production assistant to associate vice president. Before joining what is now called Live Production and Entertainment in 2000, he worked on several weekly shows including NBA Inside Stuff, NBA Jam and NBA Action.
Prior to the NBA, Myers worked for General Motors Mediaworks as a media assistant. He graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in communications with a concentration in video production and a minor in psychology.
