Rob Shaw

Global Sports Media and League Partnerships, Facebook

Rob Shaw leads the Sports Leagues and Media partnerships teams in the US. In this role, he works with league and media partners to best utilize the Facebook family of apps in order to drive a number of business objectives, including audience development, sponsorship sales and activation, commerce, and media distribution. Shaw came to Facebook after four years at Bloomberg Sports as the VP of content/media, where he led partnerships with media companies including Turner Sports, Fox Sports, ESPN, and NBC Sports. Prior to transitioning to the business side of the industry, Shaw was an award-winning sports anchor and reporter with experience at NBC and CBS television affiliates in Florida. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has an MBA from NYU. Rob has two boys, Wyatt and Levi, who he is raising with his wife, Jennifer, in Westchester, NY. A career highlight for Rob was leading an MLB partnership that resulted in Rob’s favorite team, the New York Mets, being broadcast live on Facebook Watch. Rob points out that the Mets are undefeated on Facebook Watch.
