Adam Anshell

Managing Director, Operations, Stadium

Veteran media executive Adam Anshell has served in a variety of roles on both the production and management sides of the business in his nearly two decades in the industry. In his role as Managing Director, Operations at Stadium, Anshell oversees all studio, remote, social and digital content for the industry’s only 24/7 all-platform sports network. Anshell previously worked for Silver Chalice, the predecessor to Stadium, as Campus Insiders’ VP of Networks and Live Events, overseeing the launch of the Network as well as managing partnerships with collegiate conferences including the Big 12, Mountain West, West Coast Conference, Patriot League and Conference USA. All told, Campus Insiders built out a Network that would produce and stream over 3,000 live events per year under his watch.

Prior to joining Silver Chalice, Anshell spent a decade working for CNN Sports in Atlanta. Beginning with his days at CNN/SI, Anshell worked his way through the organization handling multiple roles, ultimately settling in as a remote producer. In that role, Anshell traveled the world covering all major sporting events, including the Super Bowl, Summer and Winter Olympic Games, The Masters, The World Series and many others, producing feature stories and providing daily news coverage.

Anshell grew up in the Phoenix area, where he first became interested in sports media through a high school internship with the Phoenix Suns video production department. He moved to the other side of the country to attend Syracuse University, graduating from the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He now resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wife Amy, son Riley and daughter Millie.
