As Senior Vice President of Sports & Sponsorships for the world’s leading global hospitality company MGM Resorts International, Lance has oversight of all sports and sponsorship initiatives including Sports Strategy & Marketing, Team, League & Athlete Relations, Event Sponsorship, Development & Activation, Event, Group & Premium Ticket Sales and Corporate Partnerships & Fulfillment.
Prior to current role, Lance oversaw entertainment and sports marketing on behalf of the enterprise. This includes event sales and marketing oversight of the company’s arena and festival assets including its award‐winning venue, T‐Mobile Arena – Home of the Vegas Golden Knights, UFC and George Strait, MGM Grand Garden Arena, Mandalay Bay Event Center – Home of the Las Vegas Aces and Park Theater ‐ Home of Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Aerosmith and Cher. Lance also held a key role in the acquisition, relocation, rebrand and business operations of the WNBA Franchise the Las Vegas Aces.
Prior to joining MGM Resorts in January of 2010, Lance held a key marketing role with Wynn Resorts. At Wynn, Lance opened Steve Wynn’s Signature Resorts, Wynn Las Ve‐ gas, Wynn Macau and Encore Las Vegas. He also worked as vice president of marketing at LasVegas.com, the city’s premier source of information, products and services.
Lance holds a degree in Criminology from Oklahoma City University where he was an All‐ American baseball player and eventually played in the professional ranks for the Springfield Capitals in Springfield, IL.
