Ed O'Brien

GM, Sports, CLEAR

Ed currently serves as the GM of Sports for CLEAR directing the overall strategy in the sports and entertainment vertical.   CLEAR leverages biometrics to create simple and secure fan experiences across venue entry, ticketing and concessions.   Ed’s main focus is on building relationships within the sports industry and utilizing the CLEAR platform to deliver value back to our venue and team partners.  While at CLEAR, Ed has worked on two firsts in the sports industry - biometric age validation and payment with the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners (August 2018) and biometric ticketing at Citi Field, launched in September 2018.  Prior to CLEAR, Ed served as the college division Vice President at Neulion and the Business Lead, MLB.TV at MLB.com.
