Dan Mannix is the CEO of CSM North America, a global integrated marketing and brand experience agency with 1000+ people in 25+ locations across the world. He founded LeadDog Marketing Group, which was acquired by CSM in 2016, almost 20 years ago and grew it with make-it-happen, passionate people. In 2019, the agency was named “Best in Sports Event and Experiential Marketing” by SportsBusiness Journal.
CSM has developed longstanding relationships with partners including Coca-Cola, Intel, NFLPA, Netflix, Mercedes, REI, Square, Susan G. Komen, USGA, WWE and Verizon—creating, marketing, and activating brand experiences.
A past SportsBusiness Journal Forty Under 40 honoree, Dan brings more than 20 years of strategic marketing and partnership development for signature brand experiences and extensive work with innovation-led start-ups. After starting his career in sports marketing at the Houston Astrodome, Dan transitioned to the NBA where he worked on signature events and was pivotal in the initial team that helped launch the WNBA. Additionally, Dan oversaw the basketball competition at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Dan is the founder of True Colors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes diversity and inclusion in the sports business industry. He serves as Board Chair of Up2Us Sports, a national coaching initiative, and is a founding partner and board member of One Team Collective, the venture accelerator of the NFLPA.
He is a graduate of the University of Richmond and lives in Brooklyn with his amazing wife, Michelle, and energetic son, Jackson.
