Jeff Marks is a sports business executive with over twenty years of experience working with top global properties and brands. The media often recognizes Marks as an expert in the industry, due to his strategic consulting work generating billions of dollars in revenue on naming rights partnerships such as venue, jersey and other entitlements. Marks is known for building non-traditional “revenue generating” programs that quantify the return on “revenue” rather than antiquated impression-based valuation systems.
Most recently, Marks founded Innovative Partnerships Group (IPG360), a sports and entertainment firm that maximizes commercially obligated income (COI) for its clients. Born out of his breakthrough methodologies, IPG360 developed the sports industry’s leading valuation tool acting as a think tank for identifying, measuring and valuing long-term, next generation sponsorships and naming rights.
In addition, Innovative Partnerships Group recently launched IPG360 University Partnership Program, IPG360 Healthcare, and IPG360 Prestige Real Estate leveraging the learnings from sports and entertainment to new industry verticals.
Prior to IPG360, Jeff served as president of Premier Ventures and Managing Director of Premier Partnerships, a sports investment advisory firm and sales agency. Marks was also a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Sports Business Ventures. In addition to earning his BA at UC Berkeley and his MBA at the University of Southern California, Marks was an adjunct professor at University of San Francisco’s Sports Management Program, with a concentration in New Business Models in the Sports Industry.
Currently, Marks serves on the board of the Global YPO Sports & Entertainment Network and the Board of the Los Angeles Sports Council. Additionally, he has contributed to the UC Berkeley Revenue Generating Board and the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Marks currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
