Jonnie joined Heineken USA in 2018 where he has responsibility for all marketing output for the brewers US portfolio which includes Heineken, Dos Equis and Tecate amongst others which he consistently describes as the best job in the world. Prior to arriving in the USA, Jonnie led the Low and No Alcohol Division for Heineken Global based out of Amsterdam broadening the company portfolio into adjacent categories to beer. Before taking up that role he spent 4 based in Moscow as CMO for Heineken in Russia. He held a series of senior marketing roles at Telefonica before joining Heineken where he was CMO of the O2 Brand in Ireland and also spent time at Diageo both in his home country of Ireland and in Global roles. A graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and Trinity College Dublin, jonnie is a Fellow of the Marketing institute of Ireland (FMII), its highest level of recognition, and has extensive brand building and sponsorship experience across multiple platforms and industries.
