Scott Secord

Scott Secord President/CEO Gaming Nation Inc. 
 
Mr. Secord currently serves as President/CEO of Gaming Nation Inc. where he is responsible for overseeing the operations of the company’s various businesses while implementing both long-term and short-term strategies.  Gaming Nation, formerly a public company traded on the TSXV, was recently acquired by Orange Capital Ventures and now operates as a private company headquartered in Toronto. 
Prior to Gaming Nation, Mr. Secord held the position of President/CEO of Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. from 2009 until 2015.  During his tenure, the company achieved revenue growth of more than 275% earning awards including Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Winner in 2012 as one of the fifty fastest growing technology companies in Canada and Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 Winner in 2014 as one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America.  While serving in this position, the company made 5 acquisitions including the acquisition of 5050 Central Ltd., which was subsequently sold to Gaming Nation in 2015, prior to the public listing.  5050 Central was a finalist in 2013 for the Sports Business Journal award for “Best New Technology in Sport”.  Mr. Secord assumed his current role with Gaming Nation at the time of the sale of 5050 Central and subsequently orchestrated the sale of the remaining core assets of Pointstreak Sports Technologies in a transaction with Providence Equities and Blue Star Sports in 2016. 
 
Mr. Secord is a graduate of the University of Windsor, where he received his Bachelor of Commerce degree focusing on finance and accounting.  After graduating Mr. Secord joined Deloitte & Touche, working in the tax and audit department.  Mr. Secord left Deloitte & Touche to become a founder of Cardinal Sports Management Inc. (sold to Pointstreak in 2008), a company servicing the needs of student-athletes striving to achieve scholarship opportunities through sport and academics. 
 
Mr. Secord, who resides in Toronto, is married to his wife Lesley and together they recently celebrated the birth of their first child.  He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Flip Give Inc., which operates in the sports fundraising sector and 704 Games, the official NASCAR simulated console video game company.
