Vice President of Business Intelligence
Laura Meyer recently completed her 12th season with the Timberwolves & Lynx, her second as Vice President of Business Intelligence. Prior to her current role, she served as Sr. Director of Business Intelligence and Director of Revenue Strategy and Operations.
Meyer is responsible for the driving the organization’s business objectives and strategic initiatives through data acquisition, analysis and visualization. She spearheaded the implementation of the team’s data warehouse and its integration with all sales and marketing technologies to enable automation, optimize efficiency, and identify opportunities for revenue growth. With a focus on innovation and fan experience, Meyer has played an integral role in the team’s conversion to digital tickets netting 80% mobile adoption and is also led the development and launch each team’s respective mobile app.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Meyer graduated magna cum laude from the University Scholars honors program at Xavier University with a degree in Sports Management and double minor in Business and Psychology. She is a founding member of the Timberwolves and Lynx Women in Sports Council focusing on professional development and growth of women in the workplace. She also has a passion for animals and spends time volunteering with local animal rescue groups. Meyer and her husband, Jon, live in the south metro with their three dogs.
