Paula Miller

Senior VP & Chief Human Resources Officer, NASCAR and ISC

Paula Miller is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for NASCAR and International Speedway Corporation (ISC). Appointed to this role in 2008 for NASCAR and in 2018 for ISC, Paula is responsible for the business' human resources strategy and processes.

Since taking on this position, Paula has played a central role in executing both companies’ vision for an elevated executive leadership pipeline.  NASCAR boasts award-winning leadership talent from the sports, ticketing, event management, entertainment and consumer marketing industries, among others.  Additionally, she and her team have successfully built out NASCAR University— a unique platform designed to provide skills training for evolving business needs.

Prior to joining NASCAR, Paula served in the top HR post at International Speedway Corporation (NASDAQ ISCA); having joined that company in 1999.  She began her HR career with General Electric (GE) at their Aircraft Engines business as part of the Human Resource Leadership Program.  During her 13-year career at GE, she held a number of HR roles with increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Human Resources for a division of GE Capital's Private Label Consumer Credit business and was a member of the 1991 national labor negotiations team. 

Miller earned a B.S. in organizational communication with cum laude honors at Ohio University and a Masters degree in business at Purdue University.
