John Alvarado is VP of Brand Marketing at Constellation Brands, where he has been employed for 10 years. He is currently responsible for leading the marketing of Corona portfolio of brands including Corona Extra the #1 import beer and Corona Light the #1 import light beer in the U.S. He has successfully led the development of marketing plans and launched several new initiatives that have accelerated growth of Corona Extra over the last five years within a flat industry.
Prior to joining Constellation, John worked at Miller Brewing Company and Jim Beam Brands in brand management roles. Prior to Jim Beam, John was with Leo Burnett where he worked for eight years in account management on the strategy and advertising for several blue chip clients.
John has a B.S. in Accounting from DePaul University and an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. In his spare time, John enjoys running half-marathons and working with several community groups.
