Jay Parry has nearly three decades of experience in business strategy, planning, marketing, finance and corporate management. As Chief Operating Officer of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), Parry leads the league’s business and strategy functions and oversees efforts to grow the game and the WNBA. During her time at the league, the business has seen significant growth across key metrics.
Prior to joining the WNBA in May 2016, Parry served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee. Her responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of planning and executing a record-breaking Super Bowl XLIX held in Arizona in 2015, working closely with the NFL and numerous business and governmental constituents in the market. Her professional career spans a wide array of sports-related and corporate assignments, including the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and Bank of America.
A native of Del Mar, Calif., Parry earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Colorado.
