Danielle Maged was named Executive Vice President of Global Solutions, Fox Networks Group, in July 2015. Ms. Maged is responsible for creating, developing, and executing strategic partnerships across the domestic and international media assets of Fox Networks Group (FNG) and 21st Century Fox. She plays a pivotal role in driving strategy and building strategic alliances with top marketers in order to drive revenue for FNG’s brands, including Fox Broadcasting (FOX), FOX Sports, FX, National Geographic Partners, and FOX International Channels. Additionally, Ms. Maged retains full Sales’ oversight for National Geographic’s media assets (tv, digital, print), as well as FNG’s Marketplace Intelligence group. Ms. Maged reports to Randy Freer, President & COO, Fox Networks Group.
Ms. Maged joined Fox from RedBird Capital, the private equity firm founded by former Goldman Sachs executive and YES Network founder Gerry Cardinale, where she was a strategic advisor and operating consultant for their entertainment and sports assets.
Prior to RedBird, Ms. Maged was an executive at eBay Inc., where she served as Global Head of Partnerships & Business Development at StubHub, overseeing the strategy, negotiation and execution of over one hundred domestic and international partnerships for the company. A 12-year veteran of StubHub, and a steward of its growth from its beginning as a start-up, Ms. Maged was a member of StubHub’s executive team and worked very closely with parent company eBay on larger corporate partnerships involving PayPal and eBay.
Among her more notable accomplishments at StubHub, Ms. Maged played a lead role in its groundbreaking partnership with MLB Advanced Media. She also led negotiations with AEG for the StubHub/eBay global partnership, which included the naming rights for the home of the LA Galaxy, renamed StubHub Center.
Ms. Maged started her career at the NBA in the television programming and production departments. She then moved on to become Director of Strategic Planning at ESPN International, and then Vice President of Marketing & Digital for Madison Square Garden.
With a deep understanding of the ever-evolving entertainment and sports landscape, Ms. carries over 20 years of experience leading change, generating revenue, building brands, and driving strategy. She has repeatedly been at the forefront of change, from playing a lead role in taking a disruptor company into the mainstream, to leading the creation of a new category of partnerships, and to now playing a leading role driving the sales strategy at Fox Networks Group.
Ms. Maged is a recipient of the 2017 Ad Age Women to Watch Award; 2017 Ad Week’s List of Disruptors; 2013 WISE (Women in Sports & Events) Woman of the Year, as well as a 2012 Sports Business Journal Women Game Changer recipient. She serves on the board of the Police Athletic League, as well as on the UJA Federation of New York Sports for Youth Executive Committee.
She received her MBA from Columbia Business School, and her BA from Columbia University.
