WILLIAMS LOVES THE FORTNIGHT: NBC's Saturday, July 6 coverage of Wimbledon, which featured the all-Williams ladies final, was up 13% from last year's 3.0/10. Sunday's July 7 coverage, featuring the men's final, was down 4% from last year's 2.5/8. NBC's 15 Wimbledon telecasts combined to average a 2.1/7, down 22% from last year's 2.7/9 for 14 telecasts....Fox' coverage of the Pepsi 400 was down 15% against last year's 6.1/13 on NBC....NBC's final round coverage of the U.S. Women's Open was up 91% from last year's 1.1/3. The third round witnessed an increase of 58% against last year's 1.2/4....ABC's final round coverage of the Western Open was down 51% from last year's 4.1/10. Third round coverage jumped 6% from last year's 1.6/7. Tiger Woods competed in last year's Western, but not this year's.
