Tide Sponsoring Matt Kenseth's No. 20 Car In Three-Race Deal

P&G brand Tide this morning will announce that it is returning to Joe Gibbs Racing this season in a three-race deal. Tide will sponsor Matt Kenseth's No 20 Toyota in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series starting at Phoenix' spring race, the Brickyard 400 at Indy and the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte. Darlington Raceway's throwback weekend last year helped entice Tide to try the sport again after it used to be one of the more iconic brands in NASCAR for years. Tide works with Taylor Strategy on its NASCAR marketing.

Meanwhile, Arris has signed a multiyear renewal with JGR in which it will sponsor the No. 19 Cup car driven by Daniel Suarez for 22 races this season. That is up from the 17 races the telecommunications-equipment company served as primary sponsor for Carl Edwards last year.
