NBC's Coverage Averaging A 17.0 Through Sunday
NBC is averaging a 17.0/30 national rating for its first three nights of Olympic coverage, marking the highest prime-time rating through the first Sunday for a non-U.S. Summer Games since an 18.1/43 for the 1976 Games.
Sunday night's coverage averaged a 17.9/31, up 21 percent from the 2004 Athens Games, and peaked at a 21.0/32 and 38.4 million average viewers in the 9:30 p.m. ET half-hour.
Through Sunday, NBCOlympics.com has drawn 199.3 million page views, and the site was on pace last night to surpass the total page views for all of

Seems to me that the soccer games draw the highest attendance, Just saw the womens game Brazil v Nigeria and the stadium was full. Obviously 50,000 plus. I believe soccer is the highest attended sport in the Olympics which is a pity you bypassed in 1996 when both men and womens soccer games sold out which embarrasses other sports as they have empty stadiums.
