BofA Center A Home Away From Home For Families
When the Todd family attended the 2004 Athens Olympics to see rower Patrick Todd compete, they spent nine consecutive days at Bank of America’s Hometown Hopefuls Center. It became their home away from home.
So the first thing the Todd family did after touching down in Beijing yesterday was drop off their things at the hotel and head to the newly opened Hometown Hopefuls Center in Beijing, where they expect to be for at least 10 out of the next 13 days.“Sometimes, it’s a great reprieve from the hubbub and trying to communicate with people,” said Maureen Todd, 57, of Cincinnati. “It’s great to see the other families and relax.” Read More >

Welcome To The Coke Side Of Life In Beijing
Coke is winning big at the Olympics’ two marquee venues — the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube.
At the Water Cube, the concession area is a solid Sprite green. The green signs for food and drink are sandwiched between images of a Chinese man drinking a Sprite. Nearby are Sprite-branded, green pedestal tables and umbrellas.
While the Water Cube concessions are dominated by Sprite green, the Bird’s Nest, which glows red at night, is dominated by Coke red. From the signs to the tables to the umbrellas, everything’s red and branded for Coke. Read More > -
Allstate Renews Deal With USOC Through 2012
The U.S. Olympic Committee and Allstate Insurance reached an agreement to extend the insurance company’s sponsorship of the organization through 2012.
Allstate’s agreement is valued in the $10 million to $12 million range over four years. Terms of the deal see Allstate become the official life insurance company of the USOC in addition to retaining its designation as the organization’s official auto and home insurance company. Read More >
