Steve Warshak’s Ohio-based Fathead has struck a deal with the NFL to sell life-sized,
wall-mounted stickers of 33 players in their uniforms, as well as helmets of all
32 teams, according to James McNair of the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER. Featured players
on the stickers and in TV spots include Bengals WR Chad Johnson, Steelers QB Ben
Roethlisberger and Rams WR Torry Holt. The Johnson sticker is 6 feet, 5 inches
tall and 4 feet, 2 inches wide, while the helmets are 4-by-4 feet square. The
player stickers cost $145, and the helmet stickers $95. NFL Manager of Corporate
Communications Dan Masonson: “This is the first time we’ve done full-size type
figures.” McNair notes Warshak, the owner of Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals,
“brought the concept of selling erection enlargement pills [Enzyte] into American
living rooms,” resulting in “hundreds of millions of dollars in sales.” Warshak
is also “fighting federal civil allegations that $24[M] in personal bank accounts
was obtained by fraudulent means” (CINCINNATI
ENQUIRER, 9/21).
