Setting The Stage: Daytona HOF Bid Unveils Latest Idea

Daytona Beach’s NASCAR HOF bid committee, named the Green Flag Committee, has unveiled plans for the Tower of Champions Theater, the second feature of its proposal. Green Flag Committee Creative Dir David Exline said, “It is a high-tech and robotic ‘Interactive Amphitheater’ with the flexibility of presenting any number of highly entertaining NASCAR-themed productions.” The theater would house “an ever-changing selection of vehicles from NASCAR races” and be located near the HOF’s main entrance (Daytona Beach NEWS-JOURNAL, 7/27).
