Henry Samueli Reaches Agreement To Purchase Mighty Ducks

Broadcom Chair Henry Samueli and his wife, Susan, have reached an agreement with Disney to purchase the Mighty Ducks. Terms were undisclosed. The sale of the team requires the approval of the NHL BOG. Samueli is expected to keep the team in Anaheim (THE DAILY). In L.A., Shaikin & Foster write while Samueli’s original bid was reportedly $50-60M, the sale price is expected to be $55-65M (L.A. TIMES, 2/25).
