ON THE AIR: NBA Commissioner David Stern appeared on CNBC's "Squawk Box" this morning from the lobby of the World Economic Forum. See "Media Notes" and "Cuban Expands Empire, Purchases Belo's Stakes In Mavs, Arena" for more (CNBC, 1/31). U.S. Olympic speed skating silver medalist Eric Flaim appeared on NBC's "Today" show this morning. Flaim wore a team USA jacket, and logos of U.S. speedskating sponsors Nike and ADT were visible on his pants. NBC's Katie Couric wore Nike's skin suit and a Nike-branded U.S. Speedskating sweatshirt. A&E's "Biography" will profile Vince Lombardi. Joe Montana and Fox' Chris Collinsworth will be on "The Last Word." LL Cool J and Fox' James Brown will be on the "Best Damn Sports Show Period." LL Cool J will also be on "Unscripted," along with Emmitt Smith, LaVar Arrington and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos.
