Milk, It Does The Body Good For Warner, Brady & Bledsoe Too

Milk Spokesperson? | The milk mustache print ad that appears in newspapers the day after the Super Bowl has become almost as institutionalized as the post-game "I'm going to Disney World" TV spot. This year, however, there was a bit of a problem. Customarily, Bozell, the agency for the National Fluid Milk Processors Promotion Board (a dairy consortium), has photo shoots with the starting and winning quarterbacks of the AFC and NFC championship games. However, considering the Patriots' QB controversy, the agency wasn't sure whether to photograph Tom Brady or Drew Bledsoe. The solution? Frank Vuono, a partner at Rutherford, NJ-based 16W Marketing, which arranges the shoots, said, "We shot three quarterbacks this year for the first time. We just had to prepare for all eventualities." Meanwhile, after the photo shoot, Brady was named starting QB yesterday (THE DAILY).
NO BRAINER? ABC Radio's Keith Olbermann, after learning of Bozell's plan to photograph all three QBs, said on his radio program this morning, "You guys figured that out all by yourselves? Wowee! And they say people in advertising aren't that bright" (ABC Radio, 1/31).
