NOTES: NBC's coverage of The Preakness was up 56% from last year's 3.6/10 on ABC. NBC's broadcast peaked from 6:00-6:30pm, with a 7.2/19....NBC's 23-game NBA playoff coverage is averaging a 4.5/12, down 6% from last year's 22-game 4.8/13 average. For last weekend, NBC's three games averaged a 6.3/15, up 5% from last year's 6.0/15. Game Seven of Raptors-76ers earned the highest national rating for a first or second round game since the '97 Lakers-Spurs second round match-up. NBC's coverage of the Western Conference's Game One was up 25% from last year's Lakers-Trail Blazers Game One, which got a 4.8/13. For men 25-54, NBC's NBA playoffs are averaging a 4.2, up 11% from a 3.8 last year. For men 18-49, NBC's coverage is up 8%, a 4.1 in '01 versus a 3.8 in '00....ESPN's eight-game coverage of the Stanley Cup Conference Finals averaged a 1.48/(1,219,633 HHs), up 14% from a 1.30/(1,011,926 HHs) for last year's eight telecasts. The male 18-34 demo was up 13% from last year, a 1.80 from a 1.59. For its six playoff games, ABC is averaging a 1.5/5, even with last year (THE DAILY).
