AS THE WORM TURNS: CONVERSE STILL ISN'T TALKING, OTHERS ARE

MA-based Converse still "isn't talking" about reports
that the company has dropped Dennis Rodman as an endorser,
according to Greg Johnson of the L.A. TIMES. Converse
Senior PR Manager Kelly Buckley: "I can't shed any light on
     that issue. I wish I could, but I can't" (L.A. TIMES,
3/24). Rodman's spokesperson Matt Labov, on Converse
terminating its $15M deal with the Lakers F: "Dennis has not
breached any terms of the contract and we expect Converse to
honor the contract." Labov "did not specify" what legal
action Rodman might take (AP, 3/24).
