EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          The NBA named ANDREW MESSICK to the newly created
     position of Senior VP/Int'l.  Messick joins the league from
     the Sara Lee Corp., where he was President of Nutrimetics
     N.A., a Calgary-based cosmetics and skin care company
     (NBA)....The Bonham Group Market Research Company has named
     LARRY DEGARIS as Market Research Manager.  Prior to joining
     The Bonham Group, DeGaris was an Assistant Professor of
     Sports Management at Washington State Univ. (The Bonham
     Group)....Longtime Univ. of AL-Birmingham (UAB) AD GENE
     BARTOW retired Monday.  Bartow's successor is expected to be
     named by the time his retirement takes effect August 31
     (Mult., 7/11)....The Wild named CHRIS HANSEN as President
     and JIM IBISTER as VP of the Saint Paul Arena Company.
     Hansen will oversee the RiverCentre complex and the Xcel
     Energy Center, while Ibister will manage the day-to-day
     operations of all RiverCentre departments and assist Hansen
     in the operation of the Xcel Energy Center (Wild)....BILL
     BLIGHTON has joined the staff of TourInsider.com, a site
     powered by Rivals.com, as a golf writer (Rivals.com).
