FORMER PBA COMMISSIONER GERBERICH RESIGNS FROM ASSOCIATION

PBA GM of Operations and former Commissioner MARK
GERBERICH resigned from the association after 18 years,
according to Fellicia Smith of the AKRON BEACON JOURNAL.
Gerberich had been in his current post for the past two
months after serving as commissioner for five years. PBA
co-Owner CHRIS PETERS said Gerberich's resignation "was
unexpected. We offered Mark a job in Seattle, where we
moved our headquarters. For personal reasons, he didn't
want to move." Smith added that while Gerberich "will not
be on the payroll as an employee," he will be a consultant
to Peters and PBA officials (AKRON BEACON JOURNAL, 11/4).
