Predators Form Marketing Partnership With Baker Curb Racing
By Michael Smith, Staff Writer, SportsBusiness Journal
The Predators and Nashville-based Baker Curb Racing have formed a marketing partnership that will include sharing assets from both teams. In the last six months, the Predators and the race team, which fields cars in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, have worked together on Predators paint schemes on the car and a Predators fan party at the race team's 75,000-square-foot shop. The teams today formalized the partnership to include a new Predators paint scheme on a car that will stay on display at the arena; a race-car wrap for the Zamboni; a pit-stop demonstration by the Baker Curb pit crew; and Baker Curb hospitality for the Predators' corporate partners at upcoming races. "With this partnership, we are effectively opening another line of communication to a broader base of potential sponsors," said Predators President of Business Operations Ed Lang. "We can now provide companies exposure and visibility on a local and national level."
