IBAF President Harvey Schiller Planning To Leave At End Of Year

IBAF President HARVEY SCHILLER "plans to leave his post" at the end of the year, according to Tripp Mickle of SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL. Schiller was elected to a two-year term in '07, following the death of former IBAF President ALDO NOTARI. Schiller said that he is "stepping aside to spend more time with his family and his business." He is the CEO of N.Y.-based risk management company GlobalOptions Group, and has "been linked to a group interested in buying" the MLB Rangers (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 10/12 issue).
