Baltimore Running Festival Going Online With New Partnership

Corrigan Sports Enterprises, which operates the Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival, has partnered with Baltimore-based Internet marketing and technology outfit R2i Integrated to present the October 10 races online through a new social platform entitled R2iSmash. The platform collects social media content such as video, photo, Twitter and Facebook activity, text messages and blogs and displays it in a single presentation. The aggregated race-oriented social media content will be located at http://baltrunfest.r2ismash.com. R2i earlier this year created similar event-based social media aggregations around the Sonia Sotomayor Supreme Court confirmation and the Michael Jackson tribute, collecting more than 300,000 tweets and 5,000 photos total.
