Mariners Hire Kingston As Assistant GM

The Mariners last week hired Padres Dir of Baseball Operations JEFF KINGSTON as Assistant GM. Kingston, who spent the past nine MLB seasons with the Padres, will be "taking over a lot of the duties left behind by the resignation" of Mariners VP & Associate GM LEE PELEKOUDAS earlier this month (SEATTLE TIMES, 9/18).

EXECS: The Rockets have promoted Dir of Scouting GERSSON ROSAS to VP/Player Personnel (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 9/18)....TSN has hired independent TV producer PAUL GRAHAM as Exec Producer/Live Productions. Graham will oversee TSN and TSN2's slate of live productions (TSN)....NLL Rochester Knighthawks GM REGY THORPE Friday resigned from his role and "hopes to return as a player" (ROCHESTER DEMOCRAT & CHRONICLE, 9/19)....Next Marketing has hired JENNIFER MONTERDE as an Account Exec and NATHAN GREENE as an Account Coordinator (Next Marketing).
