USATF's First Annual Report Shows Revenues Increased By 13.1%

USA Track & Field released its first annual report last week with audited financial statements showing it increased revenues in '08 by 13.1% to $16.98M. Revenues included $7.2M in sponsorship, $1.8M in USOC grants, $4.1M in event and athlete programs, $2.2M in member-based programs and $1.4M in other revenue. The organization's expenses last year rose 7.7% to $15.6M. It spent $7.7M on elite athlete competitions, $2.25M on elite athlete support, $1.8M on member-based programs, $1M on program support and $1.5M on administration and governance. The organization increased its net assets from $2.7M at the beginning of the year to $4M at the end of '08.
