Continental Returns As Official Airline
Of Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic |
Continental will be the official airline of the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic next month in Raleigh, North Carolina. The tournament, which raises funds for cancer research, is in its 16th year, and this year's event marks the third straight year that Continental has served as the official airlines. Continental provides airline travel for all out-of-town celebrities and guests at a discounted rate. Travel packages will also be available for public bidding during the tournament's fundraising auctions. Genesis Marketing Partners, Cary, N.C., handles the sales and marketing for the event, which takes place August 14-16. Meanwhile, the ninth annual ESPY Celebrity Golf Classic yesterday at Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms in Industry Hills, California, raised $950,000 for the V Foundation.
