Auburn Univ. named SCOTT CARR Senior Associate AD for External Affairs. For the past eight years, Carr served as Univ. of Southern Mississippi Deputy AD for External Affairs, overseeing external affairs of the athletics department and serving as the sport administrator for baseball (CSTV.com, 7/7)….The Southern Conference promoted JASON YAMAN to Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations and BRANDON NEFF to Assistant Commissioner for Championships. In addition, the conference named The Citadel Streaming Video & Graphics Coordinator JAMIE SEVERNS Dir of Multimedia Services, CAROLINE SANKER Championships/Operations Assistant and JOANNE CANNELL Media Relations Assistant (Southern Conference)….The Big East named PAMELA FLENKE and MICHAEL GAMBARDELLA Communications Assistants. For the past two years, Flenke was a graduate assistant in the media relations and marketing office at Providence College. Gambardella was a graduate assistant in the athletic communications office at St. John's Univ. since '07 (Big East).
EXECS: The Scottish Premier League appointed NEIL DONCASTER CEO. Doncaster had served as English Football League One club Norwich City CEO up until May of this year (BBC.co.uk, 7/7)....O'Brien Marketing named BRIAN REISNER Exec VP. Most recently, Reisner was part of a management team for ESPN overseeing their restaurant franchise, ESPN Zone (O'Brien Marketing).
