Clark Leaving MillerCoors In July
In this week's SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, Terry Lefton reports MillerCoors Dir of Sports & Entertainment Marketing DOCKERY CLARK is "leaving after nearly four years with the company, effective July 15." MillerCoors CMO ANDY ENGLAND said that Clark is "leaving to relocate to her hometown of Charlotte." Clark, who joined Miller in '05, said that she is leaving to "find a job that would offer more hands-on sports marketing activity." Clark: "I've learned a lot and loved working in consumer package goods. We've been more about planning and administration. Ideally, I want to be more involved in sports marketing and less about how things should be organized." MillerCoors VP/Marketing Services JACKIE WOODWARD will assume Clark's responsibilities while the company searches for a replacement (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 6/29 issue).

EXECS: The Warriors promoted assistant coach TRAVIS SCHLENK to Dir of Player Personnel and college scout SCOTT PRUNEAU to Dir of Scouting. The team also named assistant coach LARRY HARRIS Consultant/Scout (Warriors)....Foot Locker has confirmed that CEO MATT SERRA is stepping down from the position and will be replaced by JC Penney President KEN HICKS, effective August 17. Serra will remain as Foot Locker Chair until his retirement in January (N.Y. POST, 6/26)....Atlanta-based law firm Berman Fink Van Horn named SCOTT MORAN Partner. Moran is a former corporate counsel with AT&T and Turner Broadcasting and is the lawyer leading Atlanta's efforts in support of the U.S. bid to host the FIFA World Cup in '18 or '22 (THE DAILY).
