DIAMOND DAYS: Rogers Sportsnet is averaging 352,300 viewers per game for Blue Jays broadcasts so far this season, up 15% over 282,000 viewers at the same point last year (Rogers)....YES Network drew 681,000 viewers for the June 11 Yankees-Red Sox game, marking the net's most-viewed telecast since drawing 715,000 for Yankees-Rangers in August '08 (YES)....CSN Philadelphia earned a 9.7 local rating for the June 11 Phillies-Mets game, marking the highest-rated Phillies game on the net since a 10.5 rating for Braves-Phillies in September '07 (CSN)....WGN-AM radio's Arbitron ratings for Cubs games were down in the month of May in the 25-54 demo, averaging a 2.8 during Monday-Sunday, down from a 3.0 last year. That number bumped the station down to a tie for 16th place in the Chicago market, compared with 14th place in April (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 6/19).
BACK HOME IN OMAHA: Through eight games of the NCAA Men's College World Series, ESPN is averaging a 1.0 cable rating and 1.278 million viewers, up from a 0.8 rating and 955,000 viewers from the same point in '08. ESPN2 is averaging a 0.7 cable rating and 897,000 viewers, even in ratings, but up from 853,000 viewers last year at this point (ESPN).
