Under Armour Senior VP/Footwear RAPHAEL PECK resigned last week to "pursue other opportunities." As the company searches for a replacement, VP/Sales ADAM PEAKE has been "immediately appointed to serve as interim executive in charge of footwear" (Baltimore SUN, 6/17).
EXECS: USA Football has named former Chiefs President, GM & CEO CARL PETERSON Chair, replacing the late JACK KEMP (USA Football)....The Predators have hired former NHLer MARTIN GELINAS as Dir of Player Development, where he will be tasked with "following and evaluating the franchise's prospects" (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 6/17)....The ECHL Charlotte Checkers yesterday announced front-office moves, including the promotion of Dir of Corporate Partnerships THOMAS SMITH to VP/Corporate Partnerships and Dir of Luxury Seating MARK MAKOWSKI to Dir of Ticket Sales. In addition, the team promoted the following: DANIELLE ADKINS to Dir of Community Relations & Manager of Merchandise/Marketing; ANNA SKIDMORE to Dir of Corporate Services; and LINDSAY HOFFERBERTH to Dir of Entertainment & Game Operations. The Checkers also hired PATRICK STACK as Dir of Corporate Partnerships and JON COOK as Account Exec (Checkers)....The Frontier Conference has hired KENT PAULSON as its first full-time Commissioner, replacing MIKE WALKER, who is resigning after three years in a part-time role. Paulson begins work on July 1 (Frontier Conference).
