LeBron Attends Movie Premiere In Maryland, Tours White House

Cavaliers F LEBRON JAMES yesterday "walked the red carpet" prior to the premiere of the documentary about his high school basketball team, "MORE THAN A GAME," at the Silverdocs Film Festival in Silver Spring, Maryland, according to Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland PLAIN DEALER. James yesterday also "visited the White House" in an appearance that was "off the public schedule." During his visit, James met with PRESIDENT OBAMA (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 6/16).

BIKE-KING: In Cleveland, Mary Schmitt Boyer reports "more than 3,500 riders are expected to take part" in this year's LeBron James State Farm King for Kids Bikeathon in Akron, Ohio, on August 22. This year's event is being produced by UMCA Sports. In addition to State Farm, other sponsors include American Express, Nike, Coca-Cola, Upper Deck, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Value City Furniture, DSW, SMobile, JSSI, and Hitchcock, Fleming & Associates (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 6/16).
