Longtime Wasserman Media Group COO Swartz Leaving Company

Swartz Steps Down
As WMG COO
Longtime Wasserman Media Group COO Josh Swartz is leaving the company. Swartz, a close friend of WMG Chair and CEO Casey Wasserman, spent eight years helping build the company's consulting, management and other businesses. Under Wasserman, he was involved in executing and integrating a series of acquisitions from Arn Tellem's athlete representation business to Gary Stevenson's Onsport consulting group. A WMG spokesperson said in an e-mail that Swartz is stepping aside to spend more time with his family. Mike Watts, WMG's former CFO, will manage day-to-day operations. He became the company's COO two months ago as part of a reorganization.
