Streeter Says USOC Close To
Making An Announcement |
Sources said that USOC acting CEO Stephanie Streeter recently answered a question regarding a potential USOC TV network by "holding her thumb and a finger about a half-inch apart" and saying, "We're this close." Streeter also "used the word 'June' to emphasize how close the USOC was to making a significant announcement, then sought leeway by saying, in effect, 'be patient'" (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 5/15)....SportingNews.com has launched two new blogs, The Baseline and MLB Draft Central.
